Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator

Location: São José dos Campos, Brazil

Role Objective:

Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the company’s facilities, equipment, machinery, and support services by coordinating internal teams and external vendors, maintaining a safe, clean, and fully functional environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee surveillance systems, access control, and electronic security
  • Coordinate structural repairs, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
  • Manage cleaning teams and service providers, ensuring high standards of hygiene and organization
  • Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, ensuring availability and reliability
  • Ensure operations comply with technical regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements
  • Manage vendor contracts and monitor service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Control budgets and costs related to facilities and maintenance
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and infrastructure
  • Promote risk prevention and maintain a safe work environment for all employees

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields
  • Previous experience in facilities management, building maintenance, security, and/or quality management
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and contract management
  • Experience managing vendors and outsourced services is a plus
